About the THEE Online Project
Vision
THEE is a representation of our human nature—with all its strengths and its frailties. We are not purely machines, brains, or bundles of primitive drives. So the over-arching vision for the THEE Online Project (TOP) is to contribute to the creation of a social world fit for human beings—one where we can live freely and thrive with others.
Use of THEE requires autonomy, responsibility and reflective awareness. Its applications could make a genuinely felt, significant difference to the efficiency, effectiveness and integrity with which people do things. Valid and powerful experiential and intellectual technologies derived from taxonomic frameworks could be used much more widely. They would be especially valuable in management, government and for large scale social efforts.
Dedicated scientific research is essential. However, because the Taxonomy is phenomenological (based on observing experiences), anybody who wants to contribute can do so. It requires a willingness to reflect, maintenance of logical discipline and some commitment as well as previous immersion in the aspect of functioning being considered. Formal qualifications are largely irrelevant.

Long-Term TOP Goals
- To determine the taxonomic location of all significant human elements within endeavour.
- To support scientific studies, both social scientific and neuro-physiological.
- To store all knowledge and materials in an accessible form available to all at no charge.
- To develop and improve tools for taxonomy development.
- To create a range of applications of the taxonomic frameworks to help in the management of social situations and complex projects.
- To enable communities of interest and of practice to develop.
- To enable use of the Taxonomy and its frameworks in a variety of other situations including:
Resources
If you recognize the significance of THEE, contact us. TOP needs investigators, sponsors and supporters willing to engage at a deep level and over the long term.
The initial development of TOP has been privately supported/funded. Future success depends on others willing to associate themselves and contribute.
A major goal is to specify the complete taxonomic structure in software. With relevant add-ons and plug-ins, the engine could be used to aid visualization, and develop a variety of personal and commercial applications and semantic tools.
Many commercial applications flow from the frameworks in THEE. If you see opportunities for yourself or your firm, contact us. Please read the Terms and Conditions of Use of the website.
